Lexi is a 23-year-old freelance editor and creative writer with a BFA in Creative Writing and a BA in English. Upon graduating from Arkansas Tech University in May of 2025, she launched her business to help other writers excel. Since then, she has become a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and has made countless writerly friends and several clients.
After years of hiding her words from the world, thinking them subpar or unworthy, she is currently writing her first novel. She may be new to the industry, but she is no stranger to the craft.

After a year-long internship, I was promoted to Assistant Managing Editor at Epiphany Magazine. My roles include managing interns, assigning submissions to readers, writing book reviews, reading and voting on submissions, and proofreading each issue before publication.
I am currently an editorial intern at Gungnir Books, working across acquisitions, managing, and production editorial and proofreading novels before publication.
I am currently a professional judge for 2026's Writing Battle, reading and voting on stories.
I served as an editorial intern and volunteer reader for the Epiphany literary magazine from May 2025-May 2026. My roles included voting on submissions, leaving detailed notes on pieces for the editors, shadowing the Managing Editor, attending weekly editorial meetings, and performing occasional clerical tasks.
In the fall of 2024, I served as a volunteer reader for ATU's literary journal, Nebo, where I was in charge of voting whether or not a submission should be taken under further consideration.
I was the editor of my high school yearbook for three years. During this time, I was in charge of proofreading, correcting, and designing the yearbook.
